This collection draws inspiration from many different facets of Los Angeles, from early street culture, to celebrity culture. Los Angeles is truly a city for sunglasses.

COLLECTION IV - THE SKYMASTER

The Pinnacle of the 4th collection, the Skymaster is an exercise in developing an extravagant aviator frame with complex engineering  inspired by aircraft mechanisms. The Skymaster is equipped with a fork hinge derived from the retractable wheels of airplanes. It is paired with structural cavity detailing on the nose bridge a top bar along with extended acetate blinders, forming into a statement frame that celebrates the prestige of flight.

COLLECTION IV - THE JAVELIN

The JAVELIN delivers a rimless masterpiece that redefines elegance. Its signature spearhead mount detail showcases both form and intention, while the frame's dual-plated finish, a harmonious dance between radiant gold and sophisticated matte black, creates unmatched visual depth. COLLECTION IV - THE RENEGADE

The Renegade frame is an evolution of the infamous Locs frames. one of the few frames that is heavily rooted in the history of Los Angeles. The Renegade seeks to be the successor to the Locs but done in a way that fuses luxury and street together. Crafted from 8mm Italian acetate with aggressive beveling, this frame is next generation Locs. A future classic that continues the strong lineage of LA eyewear.

The Rebel is short in height and wide in length for a discreet yet stylish everyday look. COLLECTION IV - THE FULL GUARD

Tall and wide in stance, the Brigade frame is the new heir to the Hunnids frame. Retaining the foundational form of the Hunnids, the Brigade is designed with a descending brow, providing a more tenacious appearance that is fitting for its size. The deep chamfer around the lens paired with a new form this frame is a new progression that retains the legacy to our favored oversized frame.

COLLECTION IV - THE VERTEBRAE

The Vertebrae frame represents JAMES ORO's boldest experimental project yet, a daring reimagination of rimless eyewear through an exoskeleton approach that defies convention. Drawing inspiration from brutalist architecture and futuristic design, this avant-garde frame pushes the boundaries of what eyewear can be. Its integrated mechanical elements, from the meticulously crafted custom riveted fork hinge to the striking wing span temples with their concentric gear configuration creates a harmonious tension between structure and space, form and function.

COLLECTION IV - THE COFFRE

The Coffre named for the French word for travel trunk, transforms luxury voyaging into wearable art. Its distinguished cat-eye silhouette is anchored by meticulously crafted metal corner pieces, while the rim draws inspiration from the wooden planks and rivets of vintage luggage. The custom lock inspired hinge and leather-handle nose bridge pay homage to the craftsmanship of travel's golden age. An exercise in construction techniques and creating a new type of rimless frame. Built off a rectangular lens the Quattro is a unique frame that is a hybrid of a rimless frame and a traditional metal frame. The lens is attached behind a metal structure, creating a unique look that will turn heads.

COLLECTION IV - THE RECRUIT

The new school take on the timeless aviator frame, the Recruit combines details inspired by aircrafts with the aviator silhouette. The result is a robust frame with all the refined details that make it a luxurious frame to be worn on the street or in flight. The Recruit is equipped with a tapering temple with machine details, a thick rim with luxurious line engravings and a sturdy top bar, This frame is built an aircraft.

COLLECTION IV - THE SLYTH

Building off the legacy of the serpent frames, the Slyth is a trailblazing creation that creates a new direction for the serpent series. Extending the snake into its elongated form that wraps around the face, this frame is all about speed. Inspired by sport frames the Slyth captures the essence of an apex predator. The lens and notepads for the shape of the snakes fangs, and is complimented with 4 red dots symbolizing snake bites.
